Summer holidays in Ayia Napa: discover villas to rent in Ayia Napa

Ayia Napa is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Cyprus offering a wide range of accommodation alternatives. Apart from booking a luxurious sea-view hotel room in one of the five stars hotels which are located right on the sea side, there is also a selection of villas to rent in Ayia Napa and the nearby areas from many good quality villa providers. When researching on the internet for places to stay with friends for our Ayia Napa holiday this year,  we decided to try a villa rental for a change.

We found many good websites offering villas to rent in Ayia Napa at affordable prices, with a relaxing and more private environment, for young couples like us who wanted to spend some time with good friends. We chose to stay in a seaview, three bedroom villa with a private pool, located in the area of Ayia Thekla only seconds from the beach and ten minutes away from the city centre of Ayia Napa.  Ayia Napa apparently used to be a small fishing village with few residents, at the south-eastern cost of the island, named after the Venetian monastery located in the middle of the town. Now it has become one of the most famous holiday resorts attracting thousands of tourists from all around the world. Apart from being a destination for family holidays, Ayia Napa has become particularly famous for its night life and its great clubbing experience. We visited several clubs there and had an amazing time and a lot of great cocktails. It was a good job we chose to stay in one of the villas to rent in Ayia Napa after all, as we had no worries about waking up early for breakfast after our very late nights! Our friends loved Ayia Napa as it was the first time visiting, and they will definitely spend another summer holiday there, as will we!
